12th Annual Standing Up to POTS 5K/2K

Raised $25,518.01 for the Standing Up to POTS Research Fund

In-Person 5K/2K

116 people joined together at the 12th Annual Standing Up to POTS 5K/2K to raise awareness about postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and funds for the Standing Up to POTS Research Fund. It was a sunny, cool fall day on Wittenberg's beautiful campus and the autumn colors were on full display. We were thrilled that 31 POTS patients were able to gather in the same place at the same time! The best part of the day is always watching people with POTS meet and quickly bond over shared experiences that most people simply don't understand. What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning!

Together with the virtual 5K/2K event, we raised $25,518.01 (after expenses) for the Standing Up to POTS Research Fund aimed at improving the quality of life for people living with POTS right now. Thank you to our wonderful sponsors, private donors, and participants for making this event so successful!

The running total for all of our 5K/2K events together is $184,885.83 for the Standing Up to POTS Research Fund!

Thank You to Our Generous Corporate Sponsors, who together donated $11,500 to our Research Fund!

Many of these businesses are long-time sponsors of the event, and we truly appreciate their ongoing generosity.

Virtual 5K/2K

In addition to the in-person event at Wittenberg, we had an additional 192 participants join this event via the virtual option. We are thrilled to be able to offer this option, and glad it is so popular! Participants were able to join together with family and friends to raise awareness and funds for research at their own pace and in their own space. Thank you for participating!
